May 17, 2010 at 1:06 comment added wisty @TMN, by web server, I meant a production hardware and software stack. I know that DH uses Apache and MySQL, but developing on a production server has advantages (everything is set up, including tricky things like mail, and they do the domain registration for you) and disadvantages (like no root, and you have to get used to remote development). Using a production server makes you dive into web work.
