I was one of those who didn't want to do code reviews because of this. The reviewer had a really bad attitude and made me feel very bad about my code as I started working. I do want to improve, and see the code review as a perfect opportunity to do this 1 on 1 with a senior. The problem was that the senior didn't provide explanations why something was bad, or how I could improve, but just said "this is really bad" and "change this" without even giving any clues or advices.
