  May I ask you how have you resolve the issue? I have the same error in my freemind file, Version 1.1.0 Beta2 :

your file is corrupt (contains only zeros...) and I'm unfortunately not able to rescue...

  Hi, file is corrupted, so there are parts missing. Say, you can't find a backup saved in the c:\users\<you>.freemind folder?</you>
