--Objectives-- This is intended to grow into a full size framework for developing electric motors. The idea is to make a collection of motor models and a supporting framework for simulating them in FEMM with the help of the Lua scripting language. --Status-- Only the "Magnetic" models exist yet, and they are purely experimental. --Next steps-- Probably the "Thermal" models, but no promises... ;) --Wish list-- The simulation results are currently dumped to files and parsed by a Perl script. I have plans to make all simulation "exploration" scripts as M-files because FEMM has a good level of integration with Matlab/Octave and this allows for better algorithm control, result compilation and graph plotting, and parameter optimization.
