- yes. i understood the reason. reason is computers are based on math so still not able to generate true randomFurkan Gözükara– Furkan Gözükara2013-03-30 16:46:19 +00:00Commented Mar 30, 2013 at 16:46
- 1@MonsterMMORPG: It is not because computers don't generate truly random numbers. Even if you throw a perfect dice 6 times, you are not guaranteed to get 6 different numbers. It is an inherent behaviour in randomness.Rune– Rune2013-03-30 16:48:24 +00:00Commented Mar 30, 2013 at 16:48
- @MonsterMMORPG: It's nothing to do with not-truely-random numbers. You will get just the same effect with dice!Matthew Watson– Matthew Watson2013-03-30 16:54:42 +00:00Commented Mar 30, 2013 at 16:54
- There is no possible way you can roll dice truely randomly :) If you pick a letter from bag of letters, you would give each letter equal chance. Am i incorrect? But it is clear here not the same. Even that your pick would not be true random.Furkan Gözükara– Furkan Gözükara2013-03-30 16:59:28 +00:00Commented Mar 30, 2013 at 16:59
- 1@MonsterMMORPG: But you are doing different things! In one case you're rolling dice multiple times, where the outcome of each dice roll has no effect on the next. In the other case, you are removing items from a bag - where the outcome of each removal certainly DOES affect the next one - because once you're removed an item from the bag, it's never going to be drawn again. But if you roll a 6, you can roll another next time. You are expecting the dice rolling to behave like removing things from a bag - but it should be trivially obvious that they are not the same!Matthew Watson– Matthew Watson2013-03-30 17:03:04 +00:00Commented Mar 30, 2013 at 17:03

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. python-3.x), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
