- I don't think any ascii deduction is required, simply use the c api to convert into char array, unless i have gotten question wrong. I have pointed out the api in my ans below stackoverflow.com/a/17273020/986760.fkl– fkl2013-06-24 10:22:43 +00:00Commented Jun 24, 2013 at 10:22
- Based on a comment you made to another answer I think you need to add to your question what should happen when the input is an odd number of characters. Should the missing 0 be added to the beginning of the string or the end?Zan Lynx– Zan Lynx2014-06-21 01:26:37 +00:00Commented Jun 21, 2014 at 1:26

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. python-3.x), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
