  • No, the only CJK support for pdflatex is CJK/CJKutf8 package. BTW, are you sure that you really need to submit a main-in-CJK-characters paper to arxiv? Commented Nov 20 at 9:13

    you can change the producer in the metadata there are some answers on this site I think, let me see.... Also they are planning to allow luatex, you could reach out to them and ask.... Commented Nov 20 at 9:25
