Falmouth Bay.

Falmouth Bay

A friend rang me, a surprise call, and said she was nearby and how about going out for lunch?
It wasn't a warm sunny day, but we drifted over to Falmouth and after a delicious lunch overlooking the water, we decided to wander along to take a closer look.
There were actually people in swimming costumes dashing in and out of the water. I didnt take pictures of them, just admired their courage!
Even on a greyish day there is something very calming about the water here.
Right on the Point (to the left)you might be able to see Pendennis Castle, one of our historic monuments. I'll tell you about it in a later post.
It was a good day.

They are to go on a memorial table for the daughter of a dear friend.
Yes, a sad occasion, but these lovely flowers are a comfort.

With a few sprigs of my pink Rosemary tucked in, I think they will be a little arrangement reminiscent of the Spring season to be.
