With an nVidia 9800 GT and proprietary drivers, udevadm monitor shows nothing when I connect an HDMI monitor. What hardware/drivers are you using?

Pityingly, that does not work reliable for me. Sometimes I get these event messages when I plug-in my monitor and sometimes not.
