- Actually I was able to recreate the windows boot partition using a lot of diskpart command to delete the partition then recreate it in fat32, then use bcdboot to copy the files from windows. I can boot into windows or linux separately, but I never have a real dual boot choice, I don't really mind at this point. What I mind though is that now I don't have any D drive anymore, everythings fine on the c drive but no more d, it's still there with all the data, but unable to mount it, even with diskpart or disk management. Anyone got any clue?Xelany– Xelany2019-07-06 22:06:17 +00:00Commented Jul 6, 2019 at 22:06

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. shell-script), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
