    This is inaccurate at best. CP/M predated any Microsoft/IBM-PC DOS by a number of years (I believe IBM's original idea was to use CP/M for their "PC", as it was a pretty well established de-facto industrial standard at the time despite the fact that various CP/M systems could be incompatible), and it's hardly disputed that the IBM-PC DOS was heavily based on 86-DOS which in turn was basically a source-code-compatible clone of CP/M.
