  • Why did you create drvo, @Matt? I looked at the README and read the dvro.txt but there's nothing describing why you did it or why someone would use dvro instead of dervish? Commented Aug 25 at 5:38
  • @NeilG Actually, there are quite a few differences. I did it for myself and I use it myself. Commented Aug 25 at 6:20
  • Yeah I thought so, because you did so, but I'm just wondering what are those differences, though?! How can I choose whether to start learing dervish or whether to start learning drvo?! Commented Aug 25 at 8:49

@NeilG Drvo is a "personal thing" with minimal (well, almost) set of features (i.e. "just enough for myself"). Kind of, copy under packpath; type :e. to open; type g? to show help screen; press ! and type shell command for everything else. There is not much to learn (and this is good, imo). There is not much to setup either. Personally, I only have <bs> mapping and g:drvo_glyph set in my config. Both are documented in the doc file. Commented Aug 25 at 9:13
