    • Page: Navigate to the Pages section of your menu.

Group existing content

For blocks already on the page, you can group them together using the following steps:

  1. Select the block or blocks you wish to group. You can select multiple blocks by using one of the following options:
    • Highlighting the blocks with your mouse.
    • Clicking the first block, holding down the Shift key on your keyboard, and clicking the final block. This will select all blocks between the first and last block.
    • Using List View to click the first block, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard, and click the final block. This will select all blocks between the first and last block.
  2. Select group, row, stack, or grid from new grouping icons that appear in the block toolbar.

You can group a single block, useful if the block doesn’t have the width options you want, using the Options () icon in the block toolbar.

💡

You can also quickly group selected blocks with the keyboard shortcut ⌘ Command + G on macOS or Ctrl + G on Windows.

Name a group

You can add names to your groups to help keep your content organized and easy to identify. Follow these steps to name or rename a Group block:

  1. Select List View in the top-left corner of the editor. It’s the icon that looks like three horizontal lines above each other.
  2. Locate the Group block in the list and click on it.
  3. Click the three dots ⋮ next to the Group block.
  4. Select the “Rename” option and type a name for the group.

When you add a Group block, it appears in the List View as “Group”. Some patterns and templates will have named Group blocks, like “Section” or “Posts with Sidebar”. In all cases, the icon for a group of content will be the same.
