Custom Elementor Single Course Template Not Applying to Tutor LMS Courses
-
I’m currently developing an educational platform using WordPress, Elementor (Pro), and Tutor LMS (Pro). I’m encountering an issue where my custom single course template created with Elementor isn’t replacing the default Tutor LMS layout as expected. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what I’ve done so far and the problem I’m facing:
- Creating the Template:
- Navigated to Elementor > Templates > Theme Builder.
- Clicked on “Add New” and selected “Single” as the template type.
- Chose “Course” as the post type
- Designed the template using various Elementor widgets to match my desired layout.
- Setting Display Conditions:
- After designing, clicked “Publish”.
- Set the display conditions to “All Courses” to ensure the template applies to every course post.
- Saved and activated the template.
- Verification:
- Cleared all site and browser caches.
- Ensured that both Elementor Pro and Tutor LMS are updated to their latest versions.
- Temporarily deactivated other plugins to rule out conflicts.
- Confirmed that the Elementor Theme Builder is enabled and functioning correctly.
Despite following the above steps, when I navigate to any course on my website, it still displays the default Tutor LMS layout instead of my custom Elementor template.
- Creating the Template:
