Hi Evert (@eheijns),
Thank you for reaching out we do appreciate your time.
Unfortunately, our basic plugin only allows a single map as mentioned in the plugin description. Creating additional maps requires our Pro add-on, however, you can create unlimited markers in the basic plugin.
If you are using our Pro add-on already and are experiencing issues with map creation I will need to ask that you reach out to us on our website instead for support.
As per the WordPress.org guidelines these forums are reserved for the basic version of the plugin and Premium support must be directed to our support desk instead.
I don’t understand. You can have only one shortcode, e.g. [wpgmza id=”1″]. I have created a map for a webpage. So if i change this map in order to create a new map inthe plugin it will affect the previous map?
Hi @eheijns,
We have various shortcodes available depending on what add-ons are installed on a site. Our basic plugin only includes a single map, you cannot create additional maps, and this is why you only have access to a single shortcode for the map the plugin already created.
There are additional attributes available for the shortcode as seen below:
- id : The map ID
- zoom : The starting zoom level
- width : Container width override
- height : Container height override
- marker : Marker ID you would like to focus on
- classname : CSS class to add to the container
Yes, making changes to a map that already exists will make those changes take effect across the entire site, for that specific map ID.
As I have mentioned, if you are using our Pro add-on, you can create an unlimited number of additional maps from the maps section within WordPress, and each map will include it’s own shortcode, markers, and respective settings.
