• I use the events calendar along with a restriction plugin, we want to create different events restricted only for different types of members.

In the desktop version of the website everything works well, the restricted events don’t show for unauthorized members. But in the mobile version… Dots appear everywhere, marking there’s an event (although the info of the event doesn’t show when you click). Is there any way to fix this??

I tried Restrict Content (stellarWP) plugin and the Ultimate member plugin restriction tool. Both have the same result…

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @josepinforolot

    Thanks for patiently waiting.

There may be a conflict arising from one of your installed plugins or themes. If you have access to a staging site where you can safely test this issue, please follow these steps: First, ensure that our plugin is updated to its latest version. Next, deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default WordPress theme, such as the 2021 theme. After making these changes, check to see if the problem persists.

If the issue appears to be resolved, you can then proceed by reactivating your other plugins and your original theme one at a time. This will help identify which specific plugin or theme is responsible for the conflict. By methodically testing each component, you can pinpoint the source of the issue more effectively.

Let me know how it goes.

Ok, I set up a staging site, and updating everything to the last version… so far nothing has seem to changed, everything exaclty the same. Everything still works, nothing is broken, but also the problem is still there.

    PHP 8.0.2
    WP 6.6.2
    The Events Calendar 6.7.1
    Restrict Content 3.2.12
    Astra 4.8.3

    Hi @josepinforolot

To confirm, were you able to activate only our plugins and use a default theme (WP’s 2021 theme), and see if the issue persists? If it’s working as expected, please try reactivating the other plugins one at a time and see which one is causing the issue.

For the time being, please continue using the default theme. Additionally, switch back to the Astra theme until all the necessary plugins have been activated and you’ve confirmed that everything is functioning smoothly without any issues.

Let me know how it goes.

    Yes, I did.

Twenty Twenty one as theme (everything looks exactly the same as with Astra, but with a pale green background)

ALL plugins except those are disabled:
    -The Events Calendar
    -Event Tickets
    -Restrict Content

    -EVERYTHING updated to latest version.

    Hi @josepinforolot

    Thanks for patiently waiting.

Could you please clarify if you implemented the restriction by modifying the calendar template? If that’s the case, it might explain the issue you’re experiencing. The mobile version of the calendar operates on a different template than the desktop version, which could lead to discrepancies in functionality or appearance.

    Looking forward to your reply.

I did not modify the template at all.

First I had the Astra template, untouched… and now I set the default Twenty Twenty-One template, untouched, as you said.

Up… This still has not been fixed. No change. 🙁
