thanks, very detailed and thorough answer! do you absolutely recommend this plugin? have you tried any other?

@Amit I have tried WP Super Cache, hyber db cache, apc object cache backend and batcache. No other caching plugin has all these features.

thanks again! i'm gonna definitely try it. btw, do you recommend remove all my transient code and stuff i added to my htaccess like gzip etc.?

The best thing to do is test and benchmark different settings to find what works best for your environment.
