- Thanks for the feedback. I don't want to vote you down... but the WP 2023 theme is block based and essentially, nothing you wrote is applicable. Would you like to take a look at the 2023 theme files and adjust your post?mjones– mjones2022-11-05 07:21:42 +00:00Commented Nov 5, 2022 at 7:21

- I've not worked with any of the block based features yet and have been out of the loop for a while, so i'll have to do a bit of homework and come back to you.t31os– t31os2022-11-05 07:54:32 +00:00Commented Nov 5, 2022 at 7:54
- I think i'm just going to have to bow out of attempting to answer this question for now, i realise after playing around with it for 30 minutes that i'm not even close to understanding how to use it, nor how you'd even begin to implement something approaching the old widget interface in a block theme.t31os– t31os2022-11-05 08:43:46 +00:00Commented Nov 5, 2022 at 8:43

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. custom-post-types), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
