I'm an artist who works without a complete plan and enjoys doing something creative every day.  I love creating mixed media art. For me, Blipfoto is a daily record of my family, my art projects and the beauty of nature. As a mixed media artist I work with paint, ink, fabric, rubber stamps and photos. I'm an advocate for health and happiness through creative activities like photography, gardening, writing a letter, a poem, cooking, baking, drawing, dancing, singing... To name a few!

I was introduced to Blipfoto in December 2010 by friedaquilter. We met online around 2003 through mixed media art websites and quickly became good friends. I traveled to Scotland in 2014 and met her in person! Our week together included attending Frieda's 52 Journal Quilts Exhibit which was extraordinary. My blips during our week together start here and you'll find Frieda's here. I love that we can remember our time together through Blipfoto.

In May 2024, I returned to Blipfoto after a year long absence. I'm still here daily! I'd like to say thanks to my blip friends who warmly welcomed me back and the new friends I've made. You have encouraged, supported and inspired me. I'm grateful to Blipfoto for the many opportunities to enjoy photography for it's beauty, interest and as a creative expression. It's such a gift to learn about life in other countries, find new friends and have such a considerate place to express yourself in writing.
