How many tabs and apps have you bounced between today? If it’s too many to count, you’re not alone. With MCP Apps now in Glean Assistant, you can bring the UI of the apps you use every day directly into Glean, so you can execute work across tools from one place instead of bouncing between tabs. Support for MCP Apps in Assistant is available today for Gamma, Hex, and Box, with support for Asana, Clay, and Mixpanel coming soon, all powered by Glean’s trusted enterprise context. Sneha Chaudhari shows it in action. 🙌 Your favorite apps, now right in Glean Assistant via MCP! https://lnkd.in/g3M3U84T

Glean admins 📣 It’s now easier to deploy and authenticate MCP at scale. With MDM support, IT teams can use tools like Jamf, Kandji, or Intune to push the Glean MCP server to supported desktop AI tools, so each user doesn't have to set it up by hand. Simply roll out the MCP server through the MDM platform you already use, then let users connect through Glean OAuth while continuing to sign in with your existing SSO. That means less manual setup, a smoother path to adoption, and a cleaner way to bring secure company context into tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and VS Code. Presentations, dashboards, infographics - oh my! 🤯 With new slide and interactive page generation in Assistant, you can instantly create on-brand deliverables tailored to your work and context, so you can focus on the story instead of the formatting. 🔹 Slide generation: Assistant uses your company template to structure slides, draft content, and generate visuals, while you refine the story and add context via chat. 🔹 Editing capabilities: Generated images are fully editable without leaving Glean. Just open the image, mark what you want changed, describe the edit, and click Apply. 🔹 Interactive page generation: Turn an idea, response, or source document into a dynamic page in canvas. Build dashboards, diagrams, infographics, calculators, and more. Grounded in your Personal and Enterprise Graph, every presentation or page Assistant creates is personalized, permission-aware, and based on sources your team trusts. 🫡 Charlie Boyden shows us what’s new. https://lnkd.in/gDxABA8j

MCP gives models access to tools, but it’s the enterprise context layer and skills on top that make those tools reliable, relevant, and actually useful. Steve Calvert shows how Glean’s remote MCP server brings that context into day-to-day work and how skills help models choose the right tools, follow the right workflows, and drive better outcomes. He also walks through how Glean uses user activity and memory to suggest new skills you can spin up for yourself. Give it a watch 👇

We had an incredible few days in Austin at SXSW 2026, hosting our Work AI House and connecting with leaders who are building the next chapter of AI at work. Some of our favorite moments: 🤠 A panel from the Work AI Institute with Rebecca Hinds, PhD from Glean, Kyle Forrestt from Deloitte, Federico Torreti from Oracle, and Phil Willburn from Workday that went beyond AI hype to share real frameworks, examples, and playbooks leaders can put to work. 👢 A packed conversation on turning AI innovation into measurable business outcomes with Laura Jaekle from Glean, Tim Glomb from Wunderkind, Jake Kooker from Indeed, and Addison Iwanaga from Adobe. 🌵 Demos and discussions with leaders ready for trusted, enterprise AI grounded in their own data. Thanks for stopping by our SXSW Work AI House!

Women now hold just 31% of VP+ roles globally, despite being 44% of the workforce, and AI could widen that gap instead of closing it. While new analysis shows women are more likely to be in AI-exposed roles, there's also evidence that they may exhibit unique skills that are prerequisites for effective AI transformation: giving clear context, anticipating reactions, and thinking through tradeoffs. In a recent article in Inc. Magazine, our head of Work AI Institute, Rebecca Hinds, PhD, shares how leaders can flip this script, along with ideas from Lauren Pasquarella Daley, PhD from Jobs for the Future (JFF), Kelly Daniel from Glean, and Shweta Puri from Nextdoor.
