Samoa Submarine Cable Company Limited (SSCC): is a registered Samoan company whose core objective is to deliver the lowest unit wholesale cost of capacity to the market. Financial projections indicate that immediately upon coming into service Tui-Samoa Cable will deliver very substantial initial reductions of at least 50% in the wholesale unit cost of international broadband capacity with longer term decreases to less than 10% of the current cost. The price and availability of wholesale capacity will be regulated by the Office of The Regulator (OoTR) which will ensure that pricing and access to services is cost based and available on an equitable basis to any existing and future licensed service providers.
