In the Checkstyle tool what's the difference between the ImportOrder and the CustomImportOrder rules?

At the first glance they look similar.

Both these checks are indeed pretty similar.

They serve the same purpose, but CustomImportOrder provides more fine-grained control and allows a higher level of customization.
