In edit mode, whenever I try to snap a bone to a mesh with Snap to Face Project on and the transform pivot point to Active, it moves both the head and tail to the same position effectively scaling it to zero instead of moving the bone as whole. If I set it to Snap to Face instead, then the bone will just snap to where my mouse cursor is instead of its current location from my POV. What confuses me even more is that I had no issues with this just a few days ago and changed no settings

2 - $\begingroup$ Have you tried selecting only the bone root (the bottom sphere) instead of the entire bone? $\endgroup$JeanMarc– JeanMarc2025-07-30 09:50:04 +00:00Commented Jul 30 at 9:50
- $\begingroup$ If I only move the head, then the bone will be scaled up. I want to retain its size and move it as a whole in respect to its active pivot point $\endgroup$Nate Mok– Nate Mok2025-07-30 09:58:38 +00:00Commented Jul 30 at 9:58
