Here is my initial build of the story creator based on Matt's prototype. This is after tinkering around without designs for a while and exploring the various options for a rich text editor. I settled on Quill.js because it allows us to render react components inside the editor (with help from portals). There are a few bugs to work out, but overall it's heading in a good direction.
