2025 note: the details given below are obsolete.

Pages can be Unapproved, Reviewed, or Approved. Users that are not logged in will see the latest approved page rather than the ("Draft") page with the most recent edits.

Confusingly, a page that is Reviewed is marked [approved revision]; a page that is Approved is marked [quality revision]; and a page that is Unapproved is marked [current revision].

Rights

Some editors (Associate Editor) and reviewers (Editor-in-Chief) have the rights to mark pages as Reviewed or Approved. Others are autoreviewers: if they edit a page that is reviewed it automatically becomes reviewed rather than a draft; such edits are marked [automatically sighted].
