I recently bought a new raspberry pi 4 4gb ram, it's my first Raspberry Pi and when I tried connecting it to hdmi I got no signal output, i tried all the edits in the config.txt but no sign of signal , even ssh did not work. Then I updated the eeprom with the Misc utility tool and then an unexpected behaviour started with the act light the light is solid green when the sd is in the slot and when I use a card reader and connect the card reader to the usb port the act light is giving a rapid 2-3 blink (very rapid) and then a pause and repeat, though the card reader shows the sign of read/write with its inbuilt led but ultimately nothing works, no hdmi no ssh

  • What OS is installed (detail including version)? How did you install OS? What do you see with no SD Card? Commented 9 hours ago
  • I used the recent Raspberry Pi imager to write the full desktop 64 bit raspbian os on the sd . Without any boot device the pi act light is static green same as when the sd is in the slot Commented 5 hours ago
  • DO NOT put details in Comments; edit your Question. You can't have installed 64 bit Raspbian because there has never been one. What is on the monitor with no SD Card? Commented 5 hours ago
  • Sorry my bad preety new here. Well the os said " pi os full(64-bit)" but the monitor shows absolutely nothing with or without the sd. Commented 4 hours ago
  • So you have a hardware problem; cable or monitor (unless the Pi is faulty or incorrectly connected) Commented 4 hours ago
