I installed rails on my computer, made under this instruction -https://coderwall.com/p/auvm9g
When installing a new project - rails new my_project -d mysql

Your error seems like that you do not have mysql installed in your system please install mysql-server, mysql-client and the necessary libraries eg: libmysql-dev...........

 ----- mysql.h is missing. please check your installation of mysql and try again. -----

Using a package manager like Homebrew or MacPorts makes it fairly straight-forward to fix this. The binary distribution of MySQL direct from Oracle and the one bundled with OS X itself does not have the development headers, of which mysql.h is one of them.

My system Mac Os, mysql server installed, these commands will not work
