jesusandrew and a very imperious black and white cat called Mayhem. I work as a Divisional Coordinator in a medical research institute, where I look after about ninety assorted delinquent academic children, including several professors of varying degrees of eminence and lunacy. This is the natural outcome of qualifications in Genetic Counselling, French and Medieval History.
In my spare time (ho, ho), I sing in several choirs, read a lot, cook a lot, and write – a politics blog, a food blog (currently on hiatus due to wrist issues that make food preparation painful), and a fiction website, Stories Under Paris, where I'm attempting to write a short story for every single Métro or RER station in Paris. I also blog occasionally at Cate Sings about music.
