$\begingroup$ Hi John! Yes, I have tried increasing the angle setting. It affects everything else in the mesh, except these specific edges that have the problem. I'll share the blend file in a sec. $\endgroup$ Commented Mar 3, 2023 at 13:24

  • $\begingroup$ I suspect that most of the problem is due to poor topology of the basic mesh. Try adding a Subdivision Surface modifier with Level set to 1 and apply it. Is that good enough? $\endgroup$ Commented Mar 3, 2023 at 14:25
