Hi,
I have just checked the Oracle website and it states that Passing score for Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer Certified Professional Exam is 61%.
The passing score written on coderanch under SCJP FAQs is 58.8%.
Can anyone confirm please whats the actual passing score? I am taking the exam on 15th June.

The exam number has changed but it is practically the same.
Some of the parts objectives were dropped(Serialization and Object.wait() .notify() notifyAll())
K&B book is still the best for the exam, so I do recommend it.
If you need some more info on the topic I think that there are plenty of threads in this forum.

Whether it is 58% or 61% is not really a big deal. Earning an extra 3% never really hurt anyone
As for the objectives, the recent ones dropped the topics noted by Stoian. They are still worth learning IMHO

But uhm...
Is it really true, that serialization, notify(), wait(), is dropped, and will not come up in exam?
