Abstract

Two nearly complete skulls from Vietnam, which date to the early Hoabinh Culture, or approximately 10,000 years ago, are described. Morphologically, the two skulls exhibit features which are intermediate between modern Australian Aborigines and East Asians. The specimens represent the two best preserved fossil crania thus far found from this early date in Vietnam.
