I'm designing a PCB for motor control. But my Proteus is not working and it doesn't show these errors that I don't understand (view last photo).

- \$\begingroup\$ The error is coming from the block at the bottom right with the LM393N. The motor is supposed to rotate, but it doesn’t, even though I have voltage on the control input of the H-bridge.I followed every signal in the schematics, and each block works correctly on its own. What should I do next? The blue input indicates 12 V for the schematic to operate. \$\endgroup\$Sara Bannour– Sara Bannour2025-11-24 08:17:44 +00:00Commented 20 hours ago
- \$\begingroup\$ I suppose that the LM393 work is to "measure" the current of the motor. You should perhaps "test" the load (motor + serial resistor) while "locking" the LM393. Use a supply with limited overcurrent. Note also that LM393 is open collector. Maybe you missed the resistor on the right bottom of the comparator (don't see well). \$\endgroup\$Antonio51– Antonio512025-11-24 08:38:33 +00:00Commented 20 hours ago

2 I have simulated with microcap v12 the "overload" circuit.
It seems to be working ok ... but I don't know the load current.
I just changed the value of RV4 to 10 kOhm (b actual value : 0.5..0.9, * 10 kOhm).
Forget the value of b in the picture, it is varied from 0.5 to 0.9, step 0.2.
You can change the values of three variables (pw, b, a).
- \$\begingroup\$ Thank you so much for your help .I appreciate it a lot . Then , what is the matter it is still not working on Proteus . Should I use another simulation tool? \$\endgroup\$Sara Bannour– Sara Bannour2025-11-24 11:19:05 +00:00Commented 17 hours ago
