Hi! My name is Terri. I grew up in a small rural community in upstate New York. It was clear that from a young age, God had His hand upon me and I felt the calling into full-time ministry as a teenager. I went to a college where I earned a Bachelor's degree and then went on to attend Alliance Theological Seminary.
My husband and I served in an inner city ministry in Paterson, NJ for 10 years and then went into church planting with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. We now serve in church ministry in Western NY.
I am licensed, consecrated and ordained with The Christian & Missionary Alliance. My husband, Dan, and I have been married for 38 and have three adult children. We have been in full-time ministry for 37 of those years.
I am transparent as I write and speak and share from the heart things that I have learned in my Christian walk and ways the Lord is dealing with me.
I don't have all the answers and I struggle like we all do, so when I write and speak I share some of the lessons that the Lord is teaching me. Writing is such a part of me that I can't imagine not being able to express myself in this way.
I have always had a love for the word of God and love teaching it. I am thankful for the speaking opportunities I have been given and work to present God's word in an accurate and engaging way.

I have always demonstrated leaderhip skills, but God has worked to hone those over the past 37 years of ministry. He has taken my natural leadership ability and continues to mold me into a woman that He is using in unique ways.
I remember being part of a city business leadership class as a 25-year-old and thinking, "What in the world am I doing here?" And yet, every experience has led me to today where I desire to encourage others in their leadership.
Besides my writing and speaking ministry, I currently serve as the director of women's ministries for the Northeastern District of our denomination, serving over 70 churches. I also sit on our denomination's national women's ministry team and the Alliance World Fellowship Women's Ministry leadership team which serves women around the world. I chair the leadership committee of this team. I serve as disciplemaking ministries director at our church as well.
God takes our experiences, our personalities, our gifts and talents and when we allow Him to do so, can mold us and make us into men and women that He can use and to do so in ways we never could have imagined!
