I never sent any ETH to anyone, but there's an unknown transaction in my wallet. Is it possible to trace it and get my money back or at least to know who operated this transaction?

This is the transaction:

The message was signed using the private key that controls the address 0x335C2397d6f5f9868efceE345A3d0613BC06e451 (your address). Given that you don't recognize this activity, it is safe to assume that your private key was compromised. I suggest not to use this account anymore.

How did you create this account? Did you use a trusted wallet like Metamask or Trust Wallet?

  • I created the wallet using blockchain.com, and rarely used it. And I contacted the customer support on blockchain.com, being told that the transaction was completed, and they cannot reverse it. And I asked if they have any account log history such as who and from where (IP address) to access my account, and they said they have no such information. I am totally lost. • Have you interacted with suspicious sites using your wallet or downloaded unknown software/packages/cloned repositories recently? Commented Jan 21 at 6:12
  • No, my computer is from corporate, which I am using daily. I never download anything suspicious. I git cloned a repository for my project recently, that is all. That is project from my company, it should be the cause of this. Commented Jan 21 at 14:49
  • Did the transaction take place a bit after you cloned the repo? Commented Jan 21 at 15:23
  • I cloned the project on 1/7/2025, the transaction was on 1/12/2025, I am not sure if it was related. I am just wondering I didn't save the private key locally, neither log into the blockchain.com for quite long time, how could it be happened? Commented Jan 22 at 15:19
