I had no clue when I got into crypto years ago. I am trying to figure out all my holdings & keep coming across address 0x430f4919d679b02dca4572579caabb7676d65f1e but I can't figure anything out. Is there a way to see what wallet was used, or how do I import this to one of my current wallets? When I first started I think I opened like 4 wallets but not sure....it's a mess

  • No, it is not possible to determine what wallet was used from the address alone. Commented Mar 21 at 5:47
  • Thanks for your response. I'm just trying to figure all this out. Thanks for your time Commented Mar 21 at 22:04

That address (0x430f4919...) has some action—check it out on Etherscan Wallet 0x430F4919D679b02dca4572579caaBB7676D65F1E. It’s at ~$1,248 now, peaked at ~$1,090,327 on May 29, 2024, and was $0 on Oct 22, 2024. No way to see the exact wallet it came from since it’s just an address, but it’s got recent transfers (e.g., 0.038 ETH 30 days ago). To import it, grab the private key (if you still have it from one of your old wallets) and add it to something like MetaMask. Dig through your old wallet backups—seed phrases or keys—to match it up. Good luck sorting the mess!

  • Thank you so much! I did try to import into Metamask but it keeps saying "not found" do I need to make sure when I import that it's on ETH chain? Commented Mar 21 at 22:03
  • ETH addresses are ERC-20 across all chains.. you need your private key to add it, not the public one Commented Mar 22 at 0:39
