I live near Seattle, Washington, USA, but spend a few months a year in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I enjoy traveling, have been to many places in the US and abroad, and want to visit more.

I use to read voraciously, but since my freelance editing business has taken off, the amount of reading I do for pleasure has lessened. I've played in a handbell choir. I am disabled and use a nifty power wheelchair. I speak some Japanese. I spend way too much time on the Internet.

I don't post often and mostly use this site as a way to keep up with what's going on in my friends' lives.
