How to add an Adding online basemap in ArcGIS 10ArcMap

How can I add an external online map in ArcMap by inserting the http address, to use as a basemap in order to georeference multiple aerial photos? Or is there a way to georeference these photos using ArcGlobe?

P.S.: I don't really care about the precision of the georeferencing. I just want to use the template as a quick-to-use index for the aerial photos.

P.S.2: There is an option in ERDAS that you can add any external map to use as a reference in LPS.
