I am a Master’s CS student at ETH Zürich 🇨🇭, majoring in Machine Learning. 🤖
I previously graduated in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino 🇮🇹, recipient of the AGON scolarship and Young Talents Program.
Everything that is ML/AI-related excites me, from traditional statistical learning theory to modern LLMs.
I have a few internships as a Software Engineer:
- Functional Analyst at Accenture, where I worked on automotive applications.
- Backend Engineer at Casavo, where I worked on mortgage applications.
- Software Development Engineer at Amazon (current), where I am working on the Alexa AI team, the LLM-based Alexa currently in beta in the US.
I have also done some ML research at MaLGa (Machine Learning Genoa Center) on scalable kernel methods, focusing on two SOTA algorithms: FALKON and EigenPro.
Recently, I have been getting into Reasoning LLMs. I am really interested in techniques that allow LLMs to "reason" in order to solve complex tasks. In particular, techniques that are token-efficient, using concise chains of thought while achieving high accuracy scores on benchmarks.
