why is slugify not converting to lowercase

it looks like this is intentional, but what is the reason for faker.helpers.slugify not lowercasing the result?

for example @sindresorhus/slugify is only returning lowercase values.

I don't fully remember, but it could be that it was easier to manually call faker.helpers.slugify().toLowerCase() as to manually mutate it later and make some chars upper case.

I agree it's slightly weird but

• the example in the docs makes it quite clear
• slugs are not always lowercase eg Wikipedia uses https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City
• you can trivially add .toLowerCase()
• changing the behavior would be a semver-major breaking change

So I would say it's just a historical quirk we should keep as-is
