There are two types of chrome extensions: apps and extensions. Right now scala-js-chrome provides only application api and to create ChromeExtension (instead of Chrome application) I had to write manifest manually and create my own ChomeExtensions extens js.App class, so I suggest to add classes for ChromeExtensions
