Here is the schedule – please note that schedule is suggested because…. life happens! However, if you somewhat keep with the pace of the schedule, you WILL get your quilt top completed!
Keep up with those star blocks – the more you make the faster you will finish the quilt! :) I am making mine 3-5 at a time when I get the time. Thank you for sewing along this quilt with me! I will see you on April 24 for check-in #7!
Today is our catch-up day! You can either use this day to catch up on blocks from previous weeks, make the option outer border pieced blocks, or just start sewing the blocks together to complete your quilt top.
I have actually finished mine because I am not making those pieced blocks for the outer border.
I hope you have had fun making these blocks for the bonus sampler quilt! See you next week for our last week to conclude this quilt along!!
Today’s assignment: 6 shoofly blocks from Who Tends the Garden quilt! Easy Peasy — be sure to add the framing pieces around the shoofly blocks using the measurements in the schedule.
Here are my blocks. I have also started sewing together some of the blocks.
Today’s assignment: we are sewing up 3.5 sprig blocks from Who’s Snailing Round Town quilt. . Remember to add (2) 2” x 3.5” rectangles to the top and bottom to (2) sprig blocks. And the half block is one without the stem/leaf unit.
TODAY’S ASSIGNMENT: SEW UP THE INNER BORDER! This is a catch-up week! So nothing demanding. Also you are done if you decide not to make the star outer border! Congratulations on your finish!

I hope you have enjoyed this quilt along! See you next week for our 5th installment. Please note that you only need framing pieces for TWO of the 3 blocks for week 5.
UPDATE 2/13/2026: Please note that the L pieces in this block are to be cut 1 1/2″ x 15 1/2″ and not 2″ x 15 1/2″!
TODAY’S ASSIGNMENT: (2) pieced blocks EITHER from Who Found the Catnip (cat blocks) or Whose Broad Stripes and Bright Stars (pieced blocks)! Don’t forget to make sure you have the correct cutting instructions if you are making the cat blocks. Click here for cat block corrections.
TODAY’S ASSIGNMENT: (2) pieced blocks from Whose Cacti Bloom Quilt. Don’t forget the framing pieces after you make your block. The schedule has cutting information.
This block is really fun to make! I designed this block to use up narrow scrap pieces that you might have. I made my quilt in red/green for the book. I think this design would be a stunner in red, white, and blue!
Thank you for sewing along. I will see you next week!
