I hope ever so much that you find my prompts pleasing, because I'd be thrilled to get a work for any one of them. that said, if none of them ping you and you get depressed just thinking about them, I don't want you to feel beholden to them, because that would be the worst. please, please enjoy yourself above all else. that's why you signed up!

I'll get into specifics re: my prompts and likes/dislikes in a moment, but the one thing I've discovered I love most of all is to read something I'm not sure I'll like or I'm absolutely sure I won't like and be taken by surprise and proved wrong. I'm not saying you have to take on that task! but I am saying that if something feels right to you and you're not sure how I'll feel about it, please go with your gut. I've often been known to flex where I was inflexible when it serves the story and characters. that's really the key. if you have any remaining doubts or just want some reassurance, you can contact carotid or pommenade and they will pet your hair soothingly/shout encouragement at you (not telling who will do which) and answer any questions you may have about me (and possibly enable you into further debauchery, but there's a reason I'm directing you to them). you can also check out my pinboard, though I am terrible at updating it and there's admittedly a lot missing.

so, here we go. all of my prompts, save for the gen prompt, are Charles/Erik, because this is a gift exchange and when I think about what I want for a prezzie in this fandom, it's my OTP. I heart them 4eva + eva amen. however, my gen prompt isn't a throwaway, either. I love Raven and am fascinated by her relationships with Charles and Erik (and would be pleased to see one or both of those relationships represented in any of my other prompts as well). other pairings I like are Erik/Raven, Charles/Raven, Alex/Armando, Raven/Azazel, Raven/Irene, Erik/Raven/Charles and Jean/Scott. obvs not all of these will necessarily be appropriate, it's just a very broad, general list. my favourite characters are Charles, Erik and Raven, followed by Angel and Darwin. I love Emma when she's not a cut-and-dried villain. outside of the XMFC verse I especially enjoy Jean, Scott, Erik's children, Kurt, Piotr, Kitty and, god help me, Logan. since it's been mentioned in some other letters, I'll also specify that Avengers are welcome.

PROMPT #1 I specified ensemble for this one because I'd really like for the rest of the characters to make appearances even if the bulk of the focus is on Charles and Erik.

PROMPT #2 what I want the most from this prompt is boys being stupid about their feelings and not communicating them well except when it comes to things like crown moulding and even then it usually devolves into bitchfighting.

PROMPT #4 I intentionally left this very broad, so feel free to use my likes to guide you or disregard them entirely. I would, however, adore a scene involving bed time rituals.

DISLIKES I don't usually like crack, though I do like cracky scenarios that are treated sincerely. I generally dislike infidelity, though I realise it can be complicated in this fandom, what with Erik/Raven (I do think they slept together in canon and have no problem with that, so idk). I don't hate non-/dub-con but don't really think it would be appropriate for my prompts and therefore don't think I'd enjoy it here. and, while I have no desire to dictate characterisation, it is true that if a fic has Erik fearing Charles's telepathy and forbidding him from reading his mind, I will almost always stop reading no matter the quality of the rest of the story.

LIKES two of my prompts are holiday-specific, but I adore the holiday season and all of its trappings, from sincere religion to shameless commercialism, and would be thrilled if you decided that this time of year should also be incorporated into my other prompts. other things I like are AUs (powered, non-powered; historical, canon, modern, future; fusions; you literally cannot go wrong), found families, kidfic, mpreg, domesticity, mutant rights and intersectionality, breath play, rimming, crossdressing, awkward first times, semi-clothed sex, heat-sharing. thoughtful (and hey, sexy!) handling of Charles's disability is loved. Charles and Erik being trolls terrible people together (or at each other or others) is one of my favourite things. I am okay with any rating, and while I would generally prefer something with at least a hopeful ending, I don't necessarily need a happy story.
