What is there to say? I am: middle-aged, a writer, photographer, pagan, divorced. I am an office supply junkie who buys packages of pens when depressed; I have recently upgraded my pen-buying experience to fountain pens and ink. (Send help. Or more ink.) I am both a Dog Person and a Cat Person, but have been without a dog for over a year and a half. Two days ago, as I write this, I adopted two cats from the SPCA. One is very brave and already owns the house; the other is still hiding out in the basement.

Favorite TV shows: Doctor Who (classic and new), Star Trek (original, TNG, Discovery, Picard, Strange New Worls, Lower Decks), the original Tomorrow People (and the first remake), Stargate SG1, Farscape, original Battlestar Galactica, BtVS, The Librarians, Warehouse 13. Earth: Final Conflict (my new forever fandom). I recently started watching the original Charmed and Stargate: Atlantis, neither of which I saw in their original runs. (My goal remains to see all the TV series that I missed when I didn't have cable.)

Favorite movies: Star Wars series, Star Trek series, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Under the Tuscan Sun, Independence Day, anything Jane Austen. Die Hard is a Christmas movie. So is Lethal Weapon. And Bell, Book and Candle.

Favorite authors: Guy Gavriel Kay, Susan Cooper, Patricia Kennealy-Morrison, Patrica McKillip, JRRT, Mercedes Lackey, Charles de Lint, Terry Pratchett.

Favorite foods: Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. (Unfortunately for my hips.)

When I was married, I resisted traveling abroad even though my then-spouse wanted to take me places. Since then, I have traveled a bit with friends and I love it. I fulfilled my dream of seeing Stonehenge, and I didn't understand how amazing the Eiffel Tower was until I saw it in person.

I circle the edges of fandom; the only true fandom experience I've ever had was the Tamson House mailing list, which I miss very much. Other social media experiences have never come close to matching it, though I am now in a couple of Discord groups that really are much closer than anything else has been, so that's been fun.

At the end of 2021, I got into collaging with scrapbook papers and stickers. It's sometimes referred to as junk journaling. I enjoy it very much and occasionally post photos of collages I have made.

My journal is mostly access-locked because I post a lot about my day-to-day life; I only post fannish stuff and photos of my collages completely publicly.
