Is there a standard mapping notation for rotations and reflections? Some sources I've looked at use R for rotations and r for reflections, others don't really make a distinction and may use the same case for both. I realize I could just use the entire word to be clear but I was curious. (This would be for a high school or standard undergrad textbook.)

1 The best suggestion I found in a textbook was to use the script capital R, $\mathscr{R}$ (typed \mathscr{R} in LaTeX) for rotations and the standard capital R for reflections.
