I'm currently unable to view images in answers, although images in questions are still loading. For instance, for the question Remove IEs compatibility mode button from SE sites (bumped today for some reason), the images are visible:

However, in an answer, such as Links in annotations no longer linkified on /users/history, the image does not appear and I get the alt text instead:

I've also reproduced this same behavior of not seeing images in answers but seeing them in questions on MSO, such as Days old input field in custom filter config dropdown has white background in dark mode.

If I open the non-loading images in a new tab, I get the error:

oh no, that request didn't look right

...along with RayIDs, such as 95184506e8295544 and 95183cb32f834afa.

While writing this question, I've also noticed that the same behavior is happening with the preview in writing a question:

Opening an image here gives me the RayID 95185b88fcabe5dd.

I've confirmed that this is happening with userscripts, uBlock, and VPN disabled. I'm using Firefox 139.0.1 on Ubuntu 22.04.
