Build neat websites with Neato.
Neato is a web page publishing system from Neatnik (the guy behind omg.lol).
You can use Neato to make all kinds of pages and websites. Your home page, your résumé, a blog with a zillion entries, your meticulously-catalogued collection of Pokémon cards—you name it, Neato can happily handle it.
Okay cool but like what does it actually do?
Neato is three things: a content management system, a static site generator, and a hosting service. It helps you organize and store your content, produce your web pages, and then serve those pages to anyone on the internet at blazing fast speeds.
An alpha version of the static site generator (SSG) portion of Neato is now available.
Check it out over in the Neato repository. But please note that it’s rough and entirely undocumented!
What if I have no idea about any of that?
If you can type words into a box, you can make web pages with Neato. If you’re a little more on the nerdy side of things, then you’ll appreciate that Neato’s modular structure allows for infinite configuration and expandability thanks to the magic of PHP. But you don’t have to care about PHP or modular stuff to enjoy using Neato.
How do I get in on this?
Plop your email address here and you’ll receive an email when Neato is ready for you.
