What is OC Maker Full Body?
OC Maker Full Body is the specialized configuration of our generator intended for creating complete, head-to-toe character reference sheets. One of the most common frustrations with AI art tools is the tendency to produce "portrait crops" where the head and shoulders look great, but the rest of the outfit is missing. This tool solves that problem.
By forcing a vertical aspect ratio and optimizing the prompt weighting for anatomical coherence, we ensure that you see everything: from the intricate crown on their head to the design of their boots. It is the essential tool for concept artists, comic creators, and cosplayers.
Why Full Body Generation Matters
- 👢 Costume Consistency: Ensure the color palette of the trousers matches the jacket. Verify that the armor design flows logically from the pauldron to the greaves.
- 📐 Anatomy & Pose: Characters are more than just faces. Body language conveys personality. A slouching rogue looks different from a rigid soldier.
- 🎭 Cosplay Reference: Need to know what the back of the coat looks like? Or the specific type of footwear? This tool gives you the visual data you need.
- 📏 Asset Scaling: When using characters in games or comics, you need to know their build—lanky, muscular, stocky, or petit.
How to Create Full Body Character Sheets
Generating a full-body image requires slightly different prompting techniques than a standard portrait. Here is how to master it:
1. Use the Right Keywords
You must explicitly tell the AI to zoom out. Include phrases like:
- "Full body shot" (The most important keyword)
- "Wide angle" or "Far away"
- "Showing shoes" or "Standing on ground"
- "Character reference sheet" (This often produces a front, side, and back view!)
2. The Aspect Ratio is Critical
Do not use square (1:1) images for standing characters—they will almost always be cropped. This page defaults to a 2:3 vertical aspect ratio, which is the "Golden Ratio" for portraits. If you need a wider stance (e.g., a character wielding a massive hammer), try changing the settings to 3:4.
3. Describe the Lower Body
If you don't describe the pants or shoes, the AI might hide them in shadow or fog. Be specific: "wearing tattered cargo pants and combat boots" or "flowing silk skirt with embroidered hem." giving the AI something to draw at the bottom of the frame helps anchor the image.
Stop guessing what your character's outfit looks like below the waist. Use OC Maker Full Body to reveal the complete picture.
