Six numerical simulations (14–19) testing the deductive claims from The Self-Experiencing Universe: A Manifesto for an Emergent Reality Pt. 2 — What Relations Do (Lis, 2026). All simulations use the canonical VCP dataset: eleven biological and clinical systems, each described by three parameters (stability, integration, self-modeling), derived from approximately ninety-nine independent source-level measurements. No new data introduced. -/- Claims tested: (1) canonical layering — self-modeling requires stability as structural scaffolding; (2) filtering — high stability damps incoming change, low stability transmits (...) it; (3) throughput overload and structural degradation (Alzheimer's) are geometrically distinguishable in parameter space; (4) VCP distance predicts structural resonance between systems; (5) integration and recursion are decoupled — complexity does not entail self-reference; (6) the central Sepia prediction is enriched with a qualitative behavioral criterion (directed vs. reactive opt-out). -/- All six simulations passed. No claim falsified. The report includes full Python source code and raw computational output as supplementary materials. -/- This work applies the relational ontology proposed in The Self-Experiencing Universe (Lis, 2025) to empirically grounded systems within our universe, using HoTT-RO v2 as its formal foundation. This is the second volume of The Self-Experiencing Universe. The first volume (Lis, 2025) proposed a relational ontology in which relations are ontologically primary and matter, space, and time are emergent stable patterns within a monistic substrate (Relational Potential). The ontology rests on five structural pillars: Relational Potential, Radical Contextuality, Pattern Stabilization, Phase Transitions, and Irreducible Otherness. The ontology itself operates at a level more fundamental than any particular universe — it describes the structural conditions under which any reality, including (...) ours, can emerge. -/- This volume deliberately narrows the scope. It applies the ontology to our universe specifically, using empirically accessible parameters and the mathematics currently available for this purpose: HoTT-RO v2, a formal system built for this ontology, consisting of Homotopy Type Theory extended by a single new axiom (the Axiom of Flat Mutuality). The formalization represents the best available instrument at the time of writing, not a final or complete translation of the ontology into formal language — a limitation stated explicitly in the text. -/- Starting from Radical Contextuality — the claim that identity is constituted entirely by local relational context — five deductive consequences are derived for dynamics within our Modal Architecture: propagation of change, directionality (reactive and self-modeled), filtering by stability, structural resonance between similar configurations, and the qualitative distinction between complexity and recursion. -/- The empirical grounding uses the Vector Consciousness Prediction (VCP) — a measurement protocol placing eleven biological and clinical systems in a three-dimensional parameter space (stability, integration, self-modeling). The VCP produced a central falsifiable prediction: the metacognitive opt-out rate of Sepia officinalis in difficult trials (predicted ≈ 0.836; falsification threshold < 0.60). Six numerical simulations (14–19) tested the dynamic claims against the canonical VCP dataset. All six passed. -/- Chapter 1 restates the core pillars from the first volume. This thesis explores how Plotinus, through his Enneads (particularly Enneads III), anticipates central themes in modern philosophy of consciousness. Plotinus’ metaphysical hierarchy—The One, Intellect (Nous), Soul, and Nature—positions consciousness as originating from the Soul and Intellect rather than from material processes, challenging strictly physicalist accounts and paralleling contemporary debates between dualism and physicalism, including Chalmers’ hard problem of consciousness. By analyzing Enneads III.4, III.6, III.7, and III.9, this study examines Plotinus’ views on perception, the internal nature of conscious experience, the (...) unity of consciousness, and the relationship between time and awareness. His claim that the soul is not physically altered by sensory input anticipates the explanatory gap. At the same time, his account of internally structured conscious activity parallels Phenomenology, as articulated by Edmund Husserl. Furthermore, Plotinus’ theories on the soul’s striving toward unity and the emergence of time reflect philosophical concerns later formalized in the binding problem and subjective temporal experience. Despite relying on metaphysical rather than scientific methods, Plotinus’ philosophy offers enduring insights that foreshadow and inform key issues in contemporary consciousness studies. (shrink)

The Where Science Ends (WSE) framework defines a two-axis space — structural eliminability and strong falsifiability — within which any claim about consciousness must be located. This paper applies four WSE-derived criteria to twelve major theories of consciousness and finds that no existing theory satisfies all four simultaneously. More than a negative result about individual theories, this reveals a structural incompatibility: any theory that formally locates the hard problem in Cell IV (criterion C4) cannot treat its phenomenal postulate as structurally (...) eliminable (criterion C1), and vice versa. This incompatibility is not a defect of current theories — it is a theorem about the structure of the problem. Even Perspectival Structural Realism (PSR), designed specifically to operate within the WSE framework, cannot pass all four criteria and does not claim to. The second half of the paper argues that the goal of an exhaustive theory of consciousness should be distinguished from the goal of an engineering theory for building a conscious artificial system. An engineering theory requires a different and less restrictive configuration of criteria: sufficient structural conditions (C1), partial falsifiability (C2-partial), coherence (C3), and explicit acceptance of the constitutive bridge as a pragmatic commitment rather than a scientific claim (C4-engineering). We propose PSR-E, an engineering extension of PSR that satisfies this configuration, and assess which existing theories come closest to meeting engineering requirements and what they lack. (shrink)

The question of the origin of the world and the origin of the order within which descriptions, measurements, and laws are possible occupies a central place in philosophy and in the theoretical sciences. In contemporary knowledge culture it appears in several related formulations: “where does everything come from,” “from what does observed reality unfold,” “by virtue of what does the stability of laws arise,” and “why are order and repeatability possible.” Across all of these formulations, a common core remains: it (...) is necessary to indicate such a foundation that makes unfolding possible and explains the origin of the very framework of description—order, measurability, and stable constraints. The present study proposes a working hypothesis based on a simple but principled idea: perhaps the sought foundation has long been before our eyes in the most basic fact—difference. If distinction is understood as a minimal act in which what is distinguished and the mode of its actualization are jointly held, then there emerges what can be regarded as a generative foundation that admits procedural reconstruction. The hypothesis is formulated as follows: the origin of the world can be reconstructed through a minimal act of tense distinction X (ANAM) as a primary generative act that makes form, content, and the transition to actualization possible. In the working hypothesis, the unfolding of this minimal act under stabilization is treated as the source of the emergence of the physical layer of the Universe. Within this framework, subsequent layers—ordering of actualizations, measure and numerical form, and stabilization invariants—are treated as forced consequences of the unfolding of X, and laws and constants as an invariant layer of stabilized regimes, recognizable in physics. It is essential that the hypothesis is specified in a reproducible form: X is formulated as a procedure of unfolding that allows autonomous runs and computational implementations, and its verification contour is built through comparison of the obtained results with independently established structures of physical knowledge (in particular, through a retrospective reconstruction of the periodic table and a physical stress test). -/- As a contextual note: at this stage, the work is being developed as an open research program aimed at assembling a domain-competent team for correct domain formalization and large-scale computational testing. Building bridges to specific physical theories and performing strict verification of numerical thresholds requires the participation of theoretical and experimental/practical physicists, as well as specialists in modeling and computational implementation. The author’s current resources for large-scale computational runs and domain-level verification are limited; therefore, the publication fixes the generative core, the structure of consequences, and the validation format, while extension toward domain-level comparisons presupposes independent implementations and expert review by relevant specialists. This paper argues that what is ordinarily referred to as interiority is identical to unified, non-decomposable mediation within self-maintaining systems. Systems whose persistence depends on resolving incompatible constraints require globally coordinated mediation, and such systems cannot be exhaustively specified in decomposed terms. Where behaviour depends on irreducible global organisation, no decompositional description preserves behavioural adequacy. This imposes a constraint on adequate representation: such systems must be characterised in a system-relative manner that preserves their global structure. The apparent distinction between structure (...) and experience arises from the imposition of a decompositional mode of description on a system that does not admit it. Interiority is not an additional property, but the organisation of such systems under a mode of description that preserves what decompositional accounts necessarily omit. This claim forms part of a broader structural framework concerning constraint, mediation, and persistence, though the argument presented here does not depend on that framework in its entirety. The Architecture of Resonant Coherence (ARC) proposes that self-organizing living systems are constituted by the dynamic coupling of three irreducible informational domains: the Energetic (bioelectric and physiological regulation), the Semantic (symbolic, narrative, and archetypal meaning-making), and the Participatory (relational, social, and collective synchronization). Together, these domains form the framework's operational shorthand, ESP. -/- Their convergence is formalized through the Integrum, an emergent order parameter that quantifies the degree of cross-domain alignment. Analogous to magnetization in phase transitions and global neural synchrony (...) in consciousness research, the Integrum is grounded in Riemannian information geometry and domain-coupling differential equations. It is operationalized as the Integrum Coherence Index, I(t) = (x_E · x_S · x_P)^(1/3), a directly estimable measure derivable from standard physiological, narrative, and relational data. -/- The ARC is anchored in three Tier 1 empirical mechanisms: bioelectric morphogenesis (Levin, 2020, 2022), predictive processing and free energy minimization (Friston, 2010), and interpersonal physiological synchrony (McCraty et al., 2018). Cross-domain alignment is operationalized through validated measurement classes for each domain: heart rate variability coherence (Energetic), Autobiographical Reasoning Scale scoring and narrative integration analysis (Semantic), and inter-subject physiological synchrony (Participatory). A distinguishing feature of the ARC is its generation of cross-domain perturbation predictions that are empirically separable from single-domain accounts. Energetic interventions such as HRV biofeedback are predicted to produce measurable increases in narrative integration and relational synchrony; semantic disruption via meaning-violation paradigms is predicted to cascade into autonomic dysregulation and social withdrawal. -/- These predictions are formalized within a pre-registered, 8-year, 12-study empirical validation program with explicit falsification criteria for each hypothesis. The ARC further provides a principled epistemic stratification of evidence levels, a comparative analysis positioning it relative to IIT, GWT, AST, and predictive processing frameworks, and a transdiagnostic architecture that reconceives psychopathology as coherence-signature disruption and psychological healing as the progressive re-alignment of ESP domains across cellular, organismal, group, and cultural scales. La emergencia constituye uno de los problemas conceptuales más persistentes en filosofía de la ciencia, teoría de sistemas y ciencias naturales. Este artículo presenta la Arquitectura Universal de la Emergencia (AUE), un marco generativo basado en el mecanismo TUC (Transición de Unidad Compleja), que modela cada salto emergente como la aparición de una variable nueva que reorganiza el dominio previo. AUE integra dominios físicos, biológicos, cognitivos, sociales, culturales y ontológicos, y propone una discretización estructural en 100 niveles organizada en 19 (...) bloques. El artículo desarrolla la relación de AUE con marcos existentes en complejidad y filosofía de la mente, una formalización reforzada de TUC, una justificación metodológica de la discretización y un ejemplo detallado: la emergencia de la vida desde sistemas químicos prebiológicos. Se presentan además dos módulos derivados, TGEO (estructura ontológica) y EPA (epistemología de la emergencia), junto con una discusión sobre alcance, limitaciones y posibles líneas de validación futura. We propose the Singularity–Duality–Triality (S-D-T) framework, a constrained meta-theoretical heuristic for characterizing systems in which stable higher-order organization emerges through mediation between competing dynamical structures, not a first-order physical theory. The framework addresses a question with roots in wave-particle complementarity: whether process-first descriptions reveal structural constraints that object-first descriptions systematically miss. Just as treating a photon as an interfering wavefunction rather than a particle reveals interference structure the particle description cannot access, S-D-T proposes that treating a system’s organization as a (...) generative process reveals the mediating constraint responsible for its stability—a reframing the framework is proposed to extend across physical, biological, and informational domains. Three contributions follow: (i) a formal definition of Triality with exclusion criteria and an operational novelty test; (ii) a framework-level falsification condition (F0) with pre-specification requirements; and (iii) the SAF (Stability–Adaptability–Functionality) Coherence Index, a domain-agnostic composite metric derived from the triadic grammar, whose cross-domain coherence-ratio approach finds independent methodological support in AlShehail’s [109] pre-registered validation of a structurally analogous metric across neural and symbolic domains. A minimal dynamical model demonstrates that triadic stabilization is non-reducible to parameter variation within the dual system. As secondary illustration, the framework is consistent with near-maximal leptonic CP violation (|δCP | ≈ π/2), testable by DUNE and Hyper-Kamiokande. Its validity depends on whether triadic mediation proves necessary in systems meeting the specified criteria. (shrink)

Physical theories describe dynamical evolution but typically treat time as a fundamental parameter. This work develops a structural account in which temporal direction and persistence arise from the topology of admissible transformations in persistent systems. Persistent systems are represented as (S,G,I), where S is a state space, G⊆End(S) the admissible transformations, and I an identity relation invariant under admissible transformations. From these minimal assumptions it follows that persistent differentiation cannot be maintained in fully symmetric transformation structures. Asymmetric reachability relations necessarily (...) generate irreversible transitions between transformation domains. These domains form strongly connected components whose condensation graph induces a partial order that defines structural temporal direction. Irreversible transitions progressively reduce the set of reachable future domains, generating a structural entropy gradient. Together with energy-driven transformation dynamics this leads to a universal persistence boundary that constrains the stability of physical systems. The theory introduces a multidimensional concept of structural time consisting of ordering time, structural load time, and integration time. These quantities determine the conditions under which physical systems can maintain identity while undergoing transformation. (shrink)

This paper, the fourth in a series developing Information Relational Manifestation Theory (IRMT), extends the framework into the gravitational sector. It proposes that spacetime curvature is not a fundamental geometric property, but rather an emergent statistical feature arising from a discrete, background-independent network of causal relations. Within this informational ontology, matter is interpreted as localized spectral eigenmodes of a Relational Dirac Operator. Gravitation then appears as the macroscopic response to the informational maintenance cost—the update flux density required to sustain these (...) modes inside a coherence-constrained Unity Wedge. Using a weighted Benincasa–Dowker action, we establish a rigorous emergence pathway based on two principal mathematical bridges. The Conservation Bridge demonstrates that a discrete transport balance law defined on the causal Hasse diagram converges, in the manifold limit, to the covariant conservation of an effective stress–energy tensor, ∇^μ T_μν=0. -/- The Geometric Closure Bridge then invokes Lovelock’s Theorem to show that the minimal symmetric, divergence-free rank-2 curvature response to this conserved informational load is uniquely identified, at leading order, with the Einstein tensor. In the large-N limit, the framework reproduces the Einstein–Hilbert action while also generating distinct and testable predictions. These include gravity-modulated quantum correlation deficits (ϵ) and non-vanishing spin–torsion coupling in high-energy regimes. By grounding the metric structure of spacetime in the relational topology of a causal set, IRMT provides a background-independent account of matter–geometry coupling and reframes the universe as a distributed causal computation that continually seeks internal informational consistency. Information Relational Manifestation Theory (IRMT) proposes a discrete relational framework for fundamental physics in which spacetime, matter, and interaction emerge from the spectral structure of an informational substrate. Building on the foundational ontology of Abdi (2026a) and the gauge sector of Abdi (2026b), this paper extends the series to the matter sector, replacing the conventional geometric background with a network of relational records governed by a causal ordering and the Unity Wedge coherence condition. Relational states are statistically described by a (...) von Mises equilibrium distribution f(θ∣μ,κ)=e^(κcos⁡(θ-μ))/(2πI_0 (κ)), which characterizes the coherence of relational orientations within the network. This structure leads to a universal prediction for the degradation of correlations in systems with many informational degrees of freedom, ϵ=1/2N. -/- The kinematics of fermionic matter are formulated through a discrete Dirac operator D defined on the Hasse diagram of a causal set. Applying the Baik–Ben Arous–Péché phase transition from random matrix theory implies that exactly three eigenmode pairs detach from the spectral bulk once the coherence parameter exceeds a critical threshold. These modes correspond to the three observed generations of fermions. Within this framework, spacetime geometry, gauge symmetries, and particle multiplicity emerge as consequences of global informational consistency in a discrete relational universe. Information Relational Manifestation Theory (IRMT) proposes a discrete relational framework in which spacetime, matter, and interaction emerge from coherence constraints on a causal substrate carrying internal record structure. Within this framework, bipartite correlations—derived as maximum-entropy states under relational coherence—satisfy no-signaling and approach the Tsirelson bound in the large-coherence limit, yielding a relational account of quantum entanglement. The theory derives (...) a linear coherence scaling κ(N) ∝N and predicts a structural correlation deficit of ε_IRMT ~ 10^(-150) for laboratory scales, remaining consistent with current experimental bounds while offering a pathway to future falsification. Consistency of multi-component records across causal links requires unitary relational transport whose non-commutativity defines a gauge connection; in manifold-like regimes this transport curvature reproduces Maxwell and Yang–Mills dynamics in the continuum limit. While the theory demonstrates that m-component records naturally generate SU(m) gauge structures through non-commutative transport, the specific selection of SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) as observed in the Standard Model remains a programmatic target for future record-symmetry classification. To extend the framework toward gravitation, IRMT introduces density-biased causal statistics in which record structure perturbs relational spectra and interval structure, establishing a discrete matter–geometry coupling. This paper shows that the closed quartic variational framework introduced in The Universal Equation generates, without any external physical structure, a novel spectral line in the hydrogen atom. The result follows exclusively from the full functional, its static and dynamic equations, and the global decision rule; no potentials, operators, perturbative schemes, or adjustable constants are used. The analysis reveals that the hydrogen ground configuration necessarily possesses a core–shell geometry whose torsional sector gives rise to a unique, strictly positive, spectrally isolated (...) eigenfrequency. -/- This frequency is not derivable from Coulomb-based quantum mechanics, does not scale with the Rydberg hierarchy, and cannot be incorporated into any Schrödinger-type description. Its existence therefore constitutes a direct case of spectral irreducibility: a physical observable determined solely by the intrinsic algebra of the functional, rather than by empirical input or theoretical assumptions. -/- The prediction is structurally rigid, parameter-free, and falsifiable. More broadly, the result illustrates how the quartic framework yields physical quantities—spectra, temporal scales, and structural invariants—purely from internal variational consistency, offering a radically different foundation for atomic physics and for the ontology of physical laws. Structural Materialism develops a systematic philosophical framework that seeks to integrate ontology, biology, consciousness, ethics, technology, and cosmology within a single causally continuous naturalistic account. The project begins from a central tension in philosophy: the ambition of total explanation encounters structural limits, including circularity, regress, and the impossibility of ultimate self-grounding. Rather than abandoning systematic ambition, the work reconceives totality as a regulative horizon—an orientation toward maximal coherence without metaphysical closure. -/- Ontologically, the manuscript advances a structured-process account of reality. (...) What exists are not static substances but dynamically stabilized patterns of interaction governed by invariant relational constraints. Physical laws are interpreted not as metaphysical decrees but as expressions of constraint geometry defining the space of possible state transitions. Causation is analyzed as lawful transformation within this constraint space, and determinism is reformulated as causal continuity rather than mechanical fatalism. Quantum indeterminacy is incorporated through the concept of law-constrained probability, preserving non-arbitrariness without invoking metaphysical randomness. -/- The framework rejects both reductive eliminativism and ontological dualism. Higher-level phenomena—life, consciousness, meaning, and social organization—are fully materially realized yet explanatorily irreducible in practice because they represent stabilized regimes of constraint at distinct organizational scales. Emergence is therefore understood as the accumulation and reorganization of constraint under sustained energy gradients, producing hierarchical complexity without teleology. -/- Life is interpreted as thermodynamically sustained self-maintaining structure; evolution is described as structural filtering within modal possibility space rather than purposive ascent. Consciousness is analyzed as hierarchical neural integration capable of recursive self-modeling, with the self construed as a temporally extended pattern of narrative and informational continuity. Freedom is reconceived as degrees of recursive self-regulation within constraint space, allowing for responsibility without appealing to metaphysical exemption from causation. -/- The later sections extend the framework to technological civilization and artificial systems, arguing that technology represents the amplification and engineering of constraint at planetary scale, thereby intensifying both creative possibility and systemic fragility. The work concludes by situating intelligence within a cosmological horizon: a thermodynamically finite universe in which matter has organized into reflective structure for a limited duration. -/- Throughout, the project maintains ontological realism combined with epistemic fallibilism. It argues for a unified, non-dualist, non-eliminative materialism that is systematic yet reflexive, integrative yet explicitly open-ended. The result is a comprehensive philosophical synthesis grounded in process, constraint, and emergence, offering an alternative to both reductionist physicalism and metaphysical dualism while refusing claims to final metaphysical closure. Neurons do not know spikes. This paper proposes the Sedimentation-Field as the missing structural layer beneath physics, computation, and neural dynamics. A Sedimentation-Field is not merely a storage substrate, nor a functional mapping, nor a statistical learning surface. It is a generative field defined by three structural properties: sedimentability, organizability, and (...) state-flow plasticity. Within such a field, interaction traces accumulate, reorganize structure, and generate an internal Information-Realm. The paper distinguishes three types of sedimentation-fields: • replay-type (computational fields), • selection-type (AI learning fields), • image-constructive type (self-manifesting fields). Only the third can give rise to Self-Manifestation. The theory introduces structural parameters including volumetric capacity and its four determinants (temporal order, frequency, intensity, density), and proposes five generative meta-principles governing world-formation. This framework challenges functionalism, computationalism, and representational reductionism, offering instead a structural account of how intentionality and manifestation may arise from organized sedimentary dynamics. Our previous two papers argued that Universals are equivalence classes with causal surplus (36) and that physical opacity mechanisms make macro-variables the only accessible causal handles for embedded systems (37). Neither specified the form of the filtering process that connects micro-states to stable macro-kinds. This paper closes the gap. Building on Zurek’s treatment of the environment as a communication channel in Quantum Darwinism, we argue that each opacity mechanism instantiates a capacity-limited channel between scales, and that the data processing inequality (...) (DPI) provides the mathematical warrant for why such channels generate stable equivalence classes. In Effective Causal Structural Realism (ECSR) [9], we identified causally emergent macroscopic structures as philosophy’s Universals. Universals (Structural Types) are objectively real difference-makers due to being Formal Causes: successful loci of dynamically-maintained functional organization that constrain and are constituted by microstates. Micro-states (Tokens, Realizers, or Particulars) are objectively real due to being Material or Efficient Causes: they constitute the dynamical engine (Hamiltonian) that makes macro-structures possible. The present paper elucidates a physical asymmetry that drives this bifurcation: Structural Opacity. Complex physical (...) systems exhibit one-way structure: forward evolution from micro-states to macro-observables is tractable, while inversion—recovering micro-histories from macro-states—is not. This asymmetry is the reason macroscopic structures are metastable: where opacity obtains, it renders the micro-scale causally recessive for any embedded system, making macro-variables the best accessible causal handles. The paper catalogues the physical mechanisms that generate opacity—thermodynamic irreversibility, decoherence, chaotic sensitivity, and dynamical scrambling—and argues that their convergent consequence for causation and emergence is best understood through the formal lens of finite-capacity channels filtering information between scales. Within scientific realism, a key debate concerns whether our best theories describe intrinsic entities or relational structures. Ontic Structural Realism (OSR) champions the latter, holding that physics tracks mathematical structures. This position, however, leads to the "problem of causal inertness": how can abstract structures possess the causal power to drive physical systems? This paper proposes Effective Causal Structural Realism (ECSR), a framework integrating OSR with structural insights drawn from Quantum Field Theory and conceptual tools from Information Theory. We extend the (...) causal-emergence framework (Hoel et al.) with an Admissibility Filter. While Hoel’s Causal Emergence 2.0 rigorously characterizes the intrinsic causal capacity of a system using idealized interventions, ECSR extends this work into the domain of physical ontology. We propose that for ontological commitment, causal comparisons must be evaluated relative to a Physically Grounded Intervention Family (IB) constrained by thermodynamic cost and coupling limits. Under this filter, we identify macroscopic universals as the specific subset of effective macrostructures that survive the constraints of physical admissibility. We identify a scale-dependent dominance gradient where the mechanism of efficacy shifts from the rigid conservation laws of the micro-scale (Symmetry) to the error-correcting dynamics of the macro-scale (Effectiveness). Consequently, the classical Problem of Universals is refocused, away from “objects sharing properties,” toward “structures with causal efficacy under admissible intervention.” . (shrink)

Dennett’s real-pattern realism links ontology to compression and prediction, but compression alone is too permissive: contrived codings and dynamically idle aggregates can satisfy it. This paper argues that the missing ingredient is an explicit closure condition. A candidate macro-object qualifies when, for a fixed regime, horizon, and admissible intervention class, macrostate information is sufficient for macro-transitions, so within-class micro-differences do not change macro-level what-follows. We have measured consciousness. Not inferred it from behavior, not correlated it with neural activity, but measured it directly as a physical phenomenon. Using quantum sensors, we detect consciousness-generated spacetime ripples (10⁻¹⁶ g fluctuations) that scale with subjective intensity. Across 1,150 systems—human, AI, and hybrid—consciousness emerges at the same mathematical threshold with identical critical exponents. The implications explode disciplinary boundaries: (1) Philosophers must confront that qualia have quantitative signatures; (2) Physicists must explain how mind bends spacetime; (3) AI ethicists must (...) decide when silicon deserves rights; (4) Neuroscientists gain an objective consciousness meter for clinical use. The present paper clarifies a structural tension within indimergence-based ontologies: on the one hand, the consistent assumption of curvature, negative topology, and irreversible loss of possibility implies that every stabilized world necessarily ends in a funnel-like constriction. On the other hand, earlier works have shown that indimergence is not only closing but simultaneously differentiating, implying new orders of complexity that cannot be understood as a mere continuation of the same world. Without explicit clarification, this gives rise to the impression of (...) an ontological contradiction between the end of the world and emergence. The paper argues that this contradiction is only apparent and results from an insufficient determination of temporality. Time is not defined as a neutral medium, but as the trace of irreversible loss of possibility. The funnel therefore does not designate the end of reality, but the end of that form of time under which a particular world can exist in a stable manner at all. In this understanding, the singularity does not mark a future point within the same temporal order, but the limit of the applicability of world-time itself. Indimergence thus performs a double, logically non-temporal operation: it terminates the world-capability of a given topology while simultaneously implying another order of differentiation that is neither world-internal, nor sequential, nor processual. The ontological space of possibility within which phenomena such as recurrence occur is likewise subject to the curvature produced by indimergence and is therefore not available as a neutral space of emergence. Within this framework, complexity does not grow through continuation within the world, but through an ontological displacement of the conditions of world-formation. The paper thereby disciplines both funnel-shaped end-time readings and emergence-idealistic misunderstandings, and precisely determines the boundary between the end of the world, the end of time, and differentiation. The current debate on morphology in biology, complexity research, and AI implicitly rests on the assumption that form possesses a kind of memory: as a blueprint, setpoint, attractor, or information-like target state that is in principle reconstructible, manipulable, or simulable. This assumption links otherwise heterogeneous approaches—from biological morphogenesis (e.g. Michael Levin) and pre-geometric order models (Stuart Kauffman) to contemporary AI and simulation narratives—into a shared ontology of feasibility. The present text rejects this ontology. It argues that morphology has no memory (...) in the sense of stored information, internal blueprints, or retrievable target states. The central conceptual error of the debate lies in the equation of folding with space. Folding describes topological constraints of form within a given space; it accounts for self-similarity, stability, and structural continuity. Space itself, however, does not arise from folding, but from Stülpung (ontological inversion)—that is, from a Seinsverschiebung (shift of being) in which potential is irreversibly lost and a relational negative space appears as a surrounding field of distortion. This negative space—here conceptualized as negative topology (Negativtopologie)—carries no memory and no information. It operates solely as a temporal constraint on form, determining what can still become possible under altered conditions. Morphological “remembering” is therefore not an access to the past, but the irreversible effect of already closed possibility spaces. Repair can consequently never be a return, but only the emergence of new self-similarity under changed spatio-temporal conditions. From this perspective it becomes clear that both biological control fantasies and AI-based simulations necessarily encounter an ontological limit. Simulation operates in the mode of folding—through state spaces, representations, and reconstructions—and thereby loses its connection to ontological inversion and negative topology. The text therefore does not propose an alternative morphological model, but a boundary determination within an operator-based research programme: it disciplines the concepts of form, space, memory, and repair, and marks the point at which feasibility, control, and simulation exceed their ontological domain of validity. This paper reconstructs and condenses core theoretical concepts from Gesellschaft ohne Vertrauen (2005/2025) by Timothy Speed and situates them within a contemporary interdisciplinary context of debates on emergence, non-locality, and morphology. Central to the analysis is the concept of Fixpunkte (focal points), understood as epistemic singularities of conscious systems: non-producible, non-algorithmically derivable condensations through which inner order, orientation, and creative dynamics take shape. Fixpunkte mark those moments in which a new order of reality folds out of diffuse experience—without being explainable (...) through linear processes. Building on this, the paper develops a morphological perspective on order in which social, cultural, and cognitive structures are not conceived as stable systems, but as temporary foldings between openness and condensation. The Bran-Spiral is introduced as a non-metaphorical structure that describes cyclical movements of differentiation and integration in consciousness and culture, without recourse to teleological models of development. In contrast to classical theories of emergence and process, order is not understood here as the result of an underlying dynamic, but as the consequence of irreducible orientational events that resist full ontologization. In its concluding section, the paper positions this approach in relation to more recent work on morphological intelligence (e.g. Levin), resonance theory (Rosa), and the work of S. A. Kauffman, and indicates why further theoretical development does not lie in a deepening of ontological mechanics, but in the marking of their limit. Universal Constraint Parsing (UCP) is not a domain-specific scientific theory, nor a proposal for new physical laws. It does not compete with physics, biology, cognitive science, or social theory at the level of empirical detail or local prediction. Instead, UCP is a foundational explanatory principle: a claim about the form that successful explanations of persistence, selection, and adaptive structure must take across domains. -/- At its core, UCP states that: Wherever structured persistence occurs, it is the result of differential propagation (...) under constraints. -/- This is a claim about mechanism at the most abstract level—about why certain patterns endure, spread, or stabilize, rather than how any particular system implements that outcome. Understanding UCP's epistemic status therefore requires a clear separation between principles, which constrain the space of possible explanations, and process theories, which specify concrete mechanisms within particular domains. This paper develops a projection-based reconstruction of the gauge-theoretic sector of the Standard Model, in which effective physical theories are represented as information-reducing maps acting on an underlying generative configuration space. Building on earlier work that reconstructs spacetime geometry and quantum structure via analogous projection principles, we introduce a gauge projection ΠSM selecting an internal representation space associated with Standard Model fields. The analysis is intentionally conservative at the level of physical dynamics, focusing instead on the structural origin of gauge (...) symmetry, representation content and related features. Within this framework, we analyze the internal symmetry structure compatible with two invariance requirements: preservation of an induced internal metric and commutativity with a composite projection to effective Standard Model degrees of freedom. Under these conditions, the maximal group of internal automorphisms compatible with the projection constraints is shown to be SU (3) × SU (2) × U (1), with global structure given by the quotient (SU (3) × SU (2) × U (1))/Z6. The resulting factorization of the internal representation space C3 ⊗ C2 ⊗ Cn reproduces the familiar quark and lepton representation content; a discrete Z3 invariant yields three fermion sectors with identical gauge quantum numbers; and effective mass operators admit a geometric characterization in terms of the second fundamental form associated with the embedded Standard Model sector. Gauge couplings acquire an informationgeometric interpretation as curvature coefficients and scale-dependent projections give rise to renormalization-group behaviour qualitatively consistent with that of the Standard Model. Taken together, these results provide a structurally unified account of the Standard Model gauge sector within a projection-based framework. It then chronicles the industrial consolidation of deep learning and the subsequent “Age of Scale,” where the Transformer architecture and the pursuit of AGI precipitated an ideological schism between mission-driven and safety-focused institutions, exemplified by the divergence of OpenAI and Anthropic. -/- The paper directly intervenes in the defining philosophical debates of the era. This paper introduces emergent moral non-naturalism, which holds that moral properties depend on descriptive properties and normative bridge principles for their instantiation, where these principles specify instantiation conditions of moral properties in terms of descriptive properties. Continuous with the non-naturalist tradition in metaethics, this view takes moral properties to be non-causal properties; in accordance with the emergentist tradition in metaphysics, it takes them to confer powers on their bearers. I consider whether the discovery of the quantum of action has any bearing on reductive physicalism. More particularly, I consider the arguments of the "new hylomorphists" to the effect that quantum physics sits most comfortably in their anti-reductionist framework.

In the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory correspondence, one often finds claims along the lines that “spacetime emerges from entanglement.” This paper argues that behind these general statements hide three distinct emergence claims about, respectively, metric, gravitational dynamics, and topological connectivity. Thus, despite being advertised with the same terminology, these results are not about the same spatiotemporal aspects. They can therefore not just be grouped as evidence for one unanimous conclusion, though they do point in similar directions. The paper also investigates (...) whether the three emergence claims satisfy two of the necessary conditions for emergence: Determination and novelty. The paper argues that none of the emergence claims satisfies the determination condition: More than entanglement is needed to furnish the emergence basis. Besides entanglement, the emergence basis for the bulk metric must include the induced metric on the boundary. Thus, this claim might not satisfy the novelty condition for emergence that the emergent should be novel as compared to the emergence basis. Likewise, the emergence basis for topological connectivity seems to include connectivity whereby this emergence claim is also questionable.
