This is a journal about how I stopped worrying and learned to love the second 'l'.

Tabula Rasa Information:

Canon: Time Quartet/O'Keefe Sequence books; specifically, I arrive on the Island at the very end of An Acceptable Time.

Appearance: I'm told that I look a lot like Kate Nash, a British singer. I don't think I'm nearly that glamorous. I'm too tall, too thin and not nearly rounded enough for seventeen (okay, so I'm twenty-one and married, now, but I still think I'm not nearly that glamorous). I have some of my mother's looks, and my father's hair.

Inventory on arrival on the Island:

• 1 pair of running shoes
• The clothes I left 2000 BC in: 1 red anorak, 1 yellow t-shirt, 1 pair of blue jeans
• 1 small but very bright flashlight (batteries required; currently about half power.)
• 1 small, gold ceremonial knife
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 notepad in a leather binder
• 1 purple felt pen
• an assortment of paper clips, safety pins, rubber bands;
• 1 pair of dark glasses
• 1 dog biscuit
