I am an evolutionary biologist based at the University of Bath. My research combines information from the fossil record and extant species to understand the patterns that drove of the diversification of life – particularly mass extinctions, evolution of plants, phylogenetics, and trait evolution. On this site I have the following materials:
- A basic R course introduction, a guide to statistics with R, and an introduction to PCA in R
- A link to the the R package motmot used for phylogenetic analyses of trait evolution
- MCMCTreeR R code to set-up and analyse MCMCTree analyses
- A list of my publications and my google scholar profile
